It’s enough. For DD duties just fine. Does feel like a dang tank . Even the doors must have lead in them.

Have you had the chance to drive a GS F yet? It is the single best car Lexus has ever made. And yes, I put it above the LFA.

The GS F is actually obtainable. The LFA is really just a Toyota supercar that they needed to put Lexus badges on to justify the astronomical prices they needed to charge to still lose money on them. It is a truly great car, and rightly deserves all the accolades it has received. But people like you and I will never get to drive one, let alone be able to afford to own one.

The GS F is a different kind of car than that, true. But it works so well. Four usable seats, plus a trunk that fits things. And you still get that glorious V8 sound track to drive to. No it isn’t the V10, but have you seen how much parts for that engine go for!?!

If one lived somewhere like Plano, TX where ‘winter’ doesn’t really exist, you could drive the GS F every day almost.

I’ve driven the LC and the GS F. If I had the money, I’d get the GS without hesitation.

Never having driven one, I can’t say for sure. But I like how the current GS drives. It’s comfortable on long distances, but can still hustle when needed. Improvements in safety are going to add weight, so the new car is always going to feel a bit more ‘dull’ and less nimble than an older car without all that added safety.

The GS does not, however, feel anything like the current ES. Which is a slow, ponderous road cushion that gives up at even the thought of taking a corner with any speed at all. (The next gen ES is shockingly decent to drive, btw.)
